Jebel Yanas

Another beautiful destination with an extraordinary view of Ras Al Khaimah City is Yanas Mountain. 

Just a short drive from RAK Downtown, this is a popular weekend spot for picnics and even camping. 

Access is very easy via the tarmac road and then, from the checkpoint, via a wide, well-groomed trail that can also be used by sedan cars. Only the final stretch will require a 4x4 or SUV, but you can stop beforehand and enjoy the magnificent scenery. 

A sublime sunset should not, however, make you forget that the road is not lit and that a return journey in the dark can be dangerous.
