Sultanate of Oman

The Sultanate of Oman is an exceptional country, rich in history and culture. 

The homeland of Simbad and the spice route between India and the Middle East, Oman has always been a trading country. 

The unspoilt landscapes of the coast are as beautiful as the high mountains of the Hajar and the wide desert plains of the Wahiba. 

Even further south, on the borders of Yemen and Saudi Arabia, the Salalah region offers a unique experience under the effect of the monsoons in summer. The desert turns green and water is everywhere, with wadis and natural pools taking the place of the desert. 

Oman also offers an incredible welcome from the local population, where the tradition of sharing with travellers is still very much alive.
