Al Asha

Situated close to the border with Qatar, Al Asha or Al Hufuf is a medium-sized town with a special feature for visitors: the Al Qarah mountain.

This exceptional site is well worth a visit. You won't find such a marvel anywhere else in the world. The rocks have been chiselled by erosion, creating a maze of sculptures and caves where you can wander in the cool shade.

Tip for the night: Hotel Intercontinental Al Asha, excellent value for money and the lobby is superb. Take advantage of the excellent buffet meal to ask for a "renovated" room; they are very comfortable. Parking available.
