Liwa Crossing
Rub Al Khali

Thrills and breathtaking scenery: that's Liwa

Locateted in the south of Abu Dhabi, Liwa area is the region where you can experimented the Rub Al Khali Desert.

We propose a crossing of the great Liwa dunes from west to east, starting near Arada and finishing at Al Jaber Shah Camp.

Please note that this route is reserved for experts with extensive experience of driving in the dunes and a fully equipped car.

It cannot be repeated often enough: the dunes here are very high, the sand as soft as flour and the crossings are very difficult, the climbs endless and the descents vertiginous.

All this makes for a fabulous experience in one of the most beautiful desert regions on the planet.

You'll need at least 2 days for this route.

After passing Liwa,  follow road E90 toward West (Western Mahadir), Arada region.
